The Alberta Summer Swimming Association (ASSA) is inviting nominations for an Interim Treasurer to join its Board of Directors.
Following a recent vacancy, ASSA is seeking a dedicated and community-minded individual to help guide the organization’s financial future.
This is a unique opportunity to bring your financial expertise to a passionate sport community, build leadership experience, and make a real impact at the provincial level.

We’re seeking candidates with strong financial skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for sport and community leadership. A background in summer swimming is an asset. The Treasurer plays a critical leadership role on the Board, providing financial governance, fiduciary oversight, and strategic financial direction to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Association.
Working collaboratively with the President, Board of Directors, and Swim Alberta’s administrative support team, the Treasurer ensures strong financial controls, transparency, and responsible stewardship.
