The 2026 ASSA Rules & Regulations have been uploaded to the ASSA website. All member clubs, Board members, coaches, meet managers, officials, and parents are encouraged to review the updated document to ensure a smooth and well‑informed season.
Several updates were made in response to feedback received throughout the 2025 season. Taking time to familiarize yourself with these changes will help support consistent operations across all regions.
Highlights
- 25m Flutter Kick Removed This event and all associated rules has been removed from the standard event list. Meet Managers may still offer it as a fun event and set their own criteria for participation.
- Exhibition Swimmers Exhibition swimmers must now be entered as No Time (NT) and will be seeded in the slowest heat in an outside lane.
- Regional & Provincial Event Orders Standardized event orders for both Regional and Provincial meets have been finalized and posted.
